The Black Knight is powered by any standard USB powerbank (cable routes internally — nothing dangling). A 10,000mAh powerbank runs the screen for 8–10 hours. You can use your own, or add our tested 10,000mAh option at checkout.

Yes — that's the whole point. The LOY EYES app lets you send clipart, your own images, scrolling text in any color, and GIFs. It converts everything automatically to the 48×48 LED matrix format. There's also a library of preset animations included.

Yes — many riders map a full-screen red animation or flashing pattern to a shortcut in the app and trigger it when slowing down, making you dramatically more visible in traffic. The screen is bright and readable day and night.

The dedicated helmet compartment fits most full-face, modular, and open-face helmets. When not in use, the compartment flattens so it doesn't eat your pack space.

The LED module is a sealed replaceable unit. If it fails within the 1-year warranty, we replace it free. Out of warranty, replacement modules are available through support.

The electronics are rated for -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F). In extreme cold, powerbank output may drop somewhat — standard lithium behavior.

Wipe the hard shell with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging the backpack or pressure-washing the zipper area. The LED panel surface cleans with a microfiber cloth.
